- learning CUW's on-line registration process;
- enhancing academic skills related to taking notes, studying, doing research, writing papers, and maintaining academic honesty;
- improving time management skills,
- fostering healthy interpersonal relations,
- making God-pleasing decisions regarding alcohol, drugs, and sex;
- engaging in self-discovery of personal values, work values, and vocational choice; and
- exploring a servant's heart via a service project.
While each instructor has the freedom to teach LA 105 in his/her unique style, there is a common core of topics that each section must address.
Additionally, LA 105 instructors created a set of minimum academic standards that govern each section.
