Dr. Kenneth Kosche SongDr. Kenneth T. Kosche (Music) is a prolific composer, with over

150 published works. His partita on "Savior of the Nations, Come" in his series "Festival Hymns for Instruments and Organ" (Concordia Publishing House) received a very favorable review in The Diapason: "Kosche demonstrates his impeccable craftsmanship in the variety of textures he creates (chorale, bicinium, trio, fughetta, tricinium) and his theological sensitivity in the way he matches music with words." Other recent publications include: "Spirit of God, Descend Upon My Heart: for mixed choir and organ (Coronet Press); "I Walk in Danger All the Way" for choir, flute, oboe, or violin and organ (CPH); "Comfort, My People" for two-part choir, flute, and keyboard (Augsburg Fortress); "Festival Psalms: Set 3," including Psalms 72, 96, and 98 for three octaves of handbells and choir (third in a series with CUW's John Behnke) (CPH); "It Is a Good Thing," a setting of Psalm 92 paraphrased by Kosche (Augsburg Fortress); "The Best Is Love" (MorningStar); and "Let the Whole Creation Cry," a setting for children from Psalm 148 (Lorenz). "The Creative Hymnodist: Christmas-Epiphany" (Northwestern Publishing House, 2001) features 20 hymn settings for keyboard and obbligato instruments. List of all Publications
