Scheduling for Success

CUW Graphic Design majors begin their MIAD coursework during the second semester of their freshman year.  Registration for MIAD classes is handled through the CUW Art Department in early May (for fall classes) and early November (for Spring classes). Coursework completed on the MIAD campus is outlined below.

 

Freshman Year:

  1. F111 Visual Dynamics 2: Color, Light & Time

Sophomore Year:

  1. DS200 Communication Design I (only offered in the Fall)
  2. DS202 Typography I (only offered in the Fall)
  3. DS201 Communication Design II (Only offered in the Spring)
  4. DS203 Typography II (only offered in the Spring)

Junior Year: 

  1. MIAD elective

 

Download your CUW Graphic Design course of study outline:

  1. First year in program ends in an even number (e.g. 2008, 2010)
  2. First year in program ends in an odd number (e.g. 2009, 2011)
