Salary Range for Communication Graduates:
Salaries range from $22,000 to $60,000 for Communication graduates who completed their degrees since 2000. Starting salaries vary depending on the level and diversity of skills and coursework as well as the quality of the internship experience. Students with exceptional Communication skills earn $40,000 to $60,000 upon graduation. Those with above average skills earn from $30,000 to $40,000. Some Communication graduates with less developed skills find jobs that pay $22,000 to $25,000. Job placement of graduates is excellent, with 90% of graduates finding full time positions within 6 months.
The Class of Spring 2004: Seven of those who graduated in Spring 2004 found excellent jobs, and one student is still seeking employment in the Journalism field. This most recent group of graduates were offered a starting salary averaging about $40,000.
