English is offered as a four-year liberal arts major, or as a complementary major for students pursuing a degree in education.

Usually education, otherwise theology, pre-seminary, communications, history, foreign language, pre-law

Strengths of CUW's program:

There is a strong writing emphasis; small classes; various offerings in literature for education students; senior project or "thesis" that assists with students' writing skills.

With an education major, editing positions in literature, English, or writing; otherwise, entry-level positions in other businesses
