(2) Oral presentations (in groups).

(3) Introduction to historical problems, perhaps in debate format.

300-level courses

(1) Book or article review.

(2) Annotated bibliography on topic (secondary materials).

(3) Presentations (individually or in pairs).

400-level courses

(1) Research paper (primary & secondary materials).

(2) Presentations (individually).

(3) Historiographical paper.
