The minor in legal studies is designed primarily for students in business, education, and criminal justice who increasingly find themselves subject to various laws and governmental regulations. A basic knowledge of these laws is beneficial, if not essential, for anyone seeking a career in these areas. The legal studies minor also provides an excellent background in law and legal reasoning for those students contemplating law school after graduation from Concordia. The minor provides a good foundation for graduate law studies along with courses in English, history, philosophy, political science, criminal justice, and languages.
