Advanced Transfer Program
If you have completed an associate degree (or 63+ credits) you have advanced transfer status and enter as a junior. Many of your transferring credits will fulfill the
62 elective credits required. The remainder of the degree consists of 48 credits in
your major and course work in each of the following areas: social science (two for CJ majors), mathematics, theology, science, and humanities (two courses) for a total of 128 credits.
Standard Program
If you have not completed an associate degree and will be transferring in less
than 63 credits, your degree will consist of the 48 credits in your major, 48 elective credits, and one course in each of the following areas: history, literature, art, mathematics, language, physical development, Christian doctrine, advanced religious studies, science, social science (Bus Mgmt majors only), culture (not HR majors), critical thinking (CJ and HR only), and economics (HR and HC only) for a total of 128 credits.
Transfer Credits
If you have completed prior college credits and would like an estimation of transfer submit a list of the schools you have attended. You will receive an email with reply forms you may use to order official transcripts. If you have a copy of your transcript(s) scan or fax (920-498-1077) them to the GB Center with a cover letter requesting that a transfer estimation be done for you. You may transfer in a total of 80 credits toward a bachelor’s degree at Concordia. The amount of credits you may transfer varies greatly between colleges. If you are comparing schools be sure to check on this as it will affect the cost of your degree. A school that has a less expensive per credit cost may be more expensive in the long run if less transfer credits are accepted.
