1. - How long will it take to earn my degree?
The length of time varies for each student, and is contingent on the number of transferable credits. A student with no prior college experience can earn an associate degree in typically 21-23 months, and achieve the bachelors level in about 3 years. Students who have two or more years of prior college can typically finish their bachelors degree in two years.
2. - Is Concordia an accredited school?
Yes! Concordia University is a fully accredited institution. This means our credits will transfer to other colleges and universities, and our graduates are fully eligible to go on to graduate school or law school. In fact, many of our students have!
3. - How many transfer credits will Concordia accept?
We will accept a maximum of 80 transfer credits. Our policy is that at least 48 credits must be completed at Concordia in order to receive a degree from our institution.
4. - When do classes start?
New schedules begin each September, January, and May. This does not mean that you cannot begin studies at other times during the year, you can begin anytime. An academic advisor will assist you in developing a schedule that meets your needs.
5. - Where is Concordia Madison located?
We are located on the south side of the beltline Hwy 12/18 off the Todd Drive exit, in the Metastar building at 2909 Landmark Place. We are situated between Inacom and Sergenians Floor Coverings.
6. - Is financial aid available?
Yes, financial aid is available. To apply go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and request that a copy of your completed application be sent to Concordia University Wisconsin. For more information on what types of aid are available, select the financial aid link found on the admissions drop down menu.
