Telecourses are designed to provide college-level studies for anyone who wishes to earn undergraduate credit toward a degree program or to improve his or her knowledge in any of the areas covered by the courses offered. Telecourses provide the student with the convenience of a self-paced curriculum. Being able to view the segments when most convenient for the student represents the ultimate in flexibility.
Who can take a telecourse
Because of their flexibility, any self-directed, highly motivated individual can take a telecourse.
Telecourses are especially recommended for:
- Students who have classroom conflicts, who need extra courses or who must study off-campus temporarily;
- Adults who hope to continue their education someday but do not have the time to commit to a full-time degree program;
- Anyone who is committed to self-improvement and personal growth.
**NOTE** PLEASE REMEMBER THAT TELECOURSES ARE DESIGNED FOR INDEPENDENT STUDY AND THE COURSE WORK IS NOT TO BE DONE WITH OTHERS. TELECOURSES ARE NOT ACCELERATED COURSES; THEY ARE FULL SEMESTER COURSES.
Who to contact about telecourses
The Office of E-Learning is responsible for telecourses. All academic questions may be directed to the instructor of record. All other questions or concerns should be directed to the Office of E-Learning, including when an instructor cannot be reached. The office of Adult Education in Mequon and the Off-Campus Directors should not be contacted regarding telecourses, nor should any materials be sent to them.
You may register online for telecourses by going to the E-Learning site and click on Add a Course.
