TELECOURSE POLICIES

FINISHING COURSES: Each course is to be completed in 16 weeks or less after receiving course materials. Please note the following timetable:
- 4 weeks after registration: Must have started class. An administrative withdrawal will be given if there is no record of the first assignment turned in and the $45 registration fee will be nonrefundable.
- 16 weeks after registration: A failing grade (F) will be assigned if course is not completed by this time. The student must request an extension from the program director.
- 24 weeks after registration: A passing or failing grade is automatically recorded. If student wishes to retake the class, they must start the registration process over and pay for the class a second time.
VIDEO/DVD'S
All videocassettes/DVD must be returned to the Continuing Education Division upon completion of the course. If Videos/DVD's are not returned a $35.00 fee will be assessed to the student’s account.
ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION
Students are provided with their instructor contact information upon registration for a course. Please submit assignments directly to the instructor. In general assignments are to be submitted via email.
WITHDRAWEL OF COURSE
If a student wishes to withdraw from a class before the second assignment is turned in there will be a 50% refund of tuition.
If the student wishes to withdraw from a class anytime after the second assignment is turned in there will be no refund of tuition.
INSTRUCTOR OF RECORD
There is an instructor of record for each telecourse who will grade your papers and will be available to answer any of your questions. It is highly recommended that you call or email the instructor before you begin work on the telecourse. Let the instructor know the most convenient time to reach you, should it be necessary to contact you. If you are unable to reach the instructor or should your call not be returned, please inform the E-Learning office.
IT IS THE STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE COPIES OF ALL PAPERS AND TESTS IN CASE THEY ARE LOST OR MISPLACED.
