Concordia University Wisconsin's graduate education programs are designed to prepare graduate students for leadership roles in professional education careers.  Qualified students will be provided with a challenging course of study that will enhance their intellectual development, personal growth, and career satisfaction.

 

Graduate education classes are offered in the evenings, weekends, and in concentrated summer blocks to fit the schedules of teachers and other working adults.  Students have access to excellent resources through Rincker Library.  All of the education programs are offered on the main campus in Mequon and many are offered at other locations throughout Wisconsin and by E-Learning.

 

All education programs are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and accredited by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  Concordia is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association 312.263.0456 (www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org).

A variety of workshop opportunities are offered by Concordia's Education Department.  Many can be taken for graduate credit.  These short term classes are in areas such as educational technology, professional development plan, and administration.

 

Admission Procedure 

Admission to graduate education programs may be granted at the beginning of any semester of the year or summer session for on-campus students or any time of the year for E-Learning students.

 

To be considered for admission, a student must:

  1. Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in the undergraduate program.
