Undergraduate Prerequisite Courses: The prerequisite courses are undergraduate courses necessary to adequately prepare a student for the MBA. It is expected that students will have acquired the basic knowledge of these courses prior to beginning the program. CUW provides these courses in the BA completion sequence (in the English language). Students who have completed any of the courses more than five years ago may wish to refresh their knowledge by repeating or auditing the class. Also, your acceptance letter will state whether you are required to complete any or all of the undergraduate equivalent courses listed below before beginning the graduate level course.
The required undergraduate prerequisite courses consist of:
- General Economics
- Statistics
- Principles of Management
- Principles of Accounting
- Principles of Marketing
- Business Finance

Students who feel they have met the requirements of an undergraduate prerequisite course in their work experience may request a review by the director to determine their level of proficiency.
Residency Requirement: Students are required to take a one week on-campus course, MBC 820, at some point during their study in the program. This course is offered in the summer of each year.

- MBC 880 Leadership and Organizational Behavior (3 cr.-no prerequisite)
