After completing my undergraduate education at Concordia in Communication, I realized how much I enjoyed being a student on the campus. My positive experiences as a student worker and peer leader also assisted in my decision to continue my education at Concordia in the Student Personnel Administration (SPA) program. The courses in the SPA program have further affirmed my desires to work with college-aged students because the classes cover pertinent information affecting "today's" college students and are taught by faculty that work with students on a day-to-day basis and are dedicated to their needs. Each class allows the graduate student to bring forth experiences either from their own undergraduate times, or current experiences to see how others may react in the same situation. There is a lot of story sharing in classes because it helps graduate students look at what other colleges are doing with their students. Being in the SPA program is quite an enjoyable experience and I am glad I decided to continue my education here at Concordia. Any graduate student looking for a positive, challenging, and fun program dedicated to helping college students, definitely will not be disappointed.
