Rev. Arthur (’61) and Evelyn (Netz, ’67) Baisch: Now "empty-nesters", Arthur and Evelyn are moving to Arkansas, where he will enter semi-retirement and serve as the full-time "part-time" pastor at Faith Lutheran Church, Fairfield Bay, AR, after serving as associate chaplain since Feb. 2002 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, PA. Their youngest, son Jonathan, graduated May '08 "cum laude" in electrical engineering at Grove City College, Grove City, PA. He is now in Rod Control Systems Engineering with Westinghouse Electric Co. Nuclear Services, New Stanton, PA. Their daughter, Christi (CUChicago/RF '97), and her husband, Brian Vaupel, are in the adoption process for a daughter from China, following the adoption of a son from Ethiopia in '07. Updated 12/8/08
John F. Wachmann ('61): John has retired after spending his last 10 years as a school administrator in Yup'ik Eskimo village K-12 schools.
Rev. Charles Weinrich (‘61):
Rev. Weinrich is now retired and living in Florida where he and his wife Carol moved to be near a son and his family. Recently, he took the position of co-editor of Caring Connections, an online "Inter-Lutheran Journal for Practitioners and Teachers of Pastoral Care and Counseling." Recent issues have focused on "Pastoral Care among Returning Veterans" and "Spiritual Care and Pandemic Flu." More can be seen at www.caringconnectionsonline.org. Rev. Gerald D. Gaus ('62): Gerald was a High Tech Instructor, teaching how to collect and process seismographic data from the ocean floor for oil exploration. He also was a trainer for Fiber Optics and Satellite Telecommunications. Since retiring, Dale has been doing "voice work" for Lamb of God Lutheran Church, in Flower Mound, Texas for the "What's The Message" series provided on their web site at http://www.log.org and hosting group cruises.

Dean Wachholz ('65): In August 2005, Dean accepted a Call from Capital Funding Services of The Lutheran Church Extension Fund to serve as their Vice President of Agency Services. Dean and his wife, Betty, live in Blissfield, MI. They have one son, Chad, who lives in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI.

Rev. Dr. Joel Heck ('68): Dr. Heck is editing his ninth book, entitled "The Personal Heresy," authored by C.S. Lewis and E.M.W. Tillyard. It will be released August 1, 2008.
Stanley G. Lange ('68): Stan is currently teaching computer applications and business skills classes for the largest independent training organization in the world. He is also the training supervisor for the Wisconsin franchise.
