Rev. Keith GeRue (Alum '88): Is returning from Iraq after serving as Army Chaplain at Camp Bucca since August 2007.
Rev. Ed Blonski (Alum '87): Ed and his family recently moved to Southern California where he is serving as pastor of Redeemer Lutheran in Ontario. He is also serving on the Board of Directors for Lutheran High School in La Verne. He started leading men's retreats and events through his Christian Men's ministry, True Men Ministries.
Rev. Kevin J Kohnke (Alum '87): Kevin has accepted the call to serve as Director of Family Life Ministry at Concordia University, NE. He had been serving as Pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, WI.
Wanda (Gillen, Alum'87) and Randy Potratz: Wanda and her family are currently in Niger, Africa with the mission organization SIM. They have been in Africa a total of 3 years. First came in 2001-2002 and the then again in 2005 to present. They are considered short-term missionaries and can't be out more than 2 years in a row. Wanda is a teacher at Sahel Academy and her husband is a systems administrator for the field of Niger. Their 3 sons are attending Sahel Academy.
Rev. Keith GeRue (Alum '88): Keith moved from Senior Pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Momence, IL to Headmaster and Associate Pastor at Trinity- St. Paul Lutheran School in Worden, IL.
Inga (Norem, Alum '86) Sinyangwe: Inga is a Clinical Nurse Educator for PeriAnesthesia Services at AI duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE.
Beth Speers (Alum 1983): Is the director of her town library, as well as homeschooling her two children, Micah (16) and Emma (9).
Boeck, Tom(Alum 1983): In October 2005 Tom Boeck was appointed VP of Sustainable Development at Koll Development Co. located in Atlanta GA. Koll Development specializes in build-to-suit corporate Headquarters.
Joseph Graefe(Alum 1985): Would like to share that his son Michael went to Australia as a People to People Sports Ambassador in the summer of 2005.
Paula Mather (Alum 1986) became a great-grandmother on January 6, 2005 to Gryphen Alexander Robert Wallace Sheibl who lives with his parents in Dollar Bay, MI. Paula is an employee of Concordia University Wisconsin.
Jim McDermott (Alum 1987) and his wife Cindy (Judes, Alum 1986) McDermott have published a book entitled The Christian Family: In the World, but not of it. God has blessed the McDermotts with 11 children ages 1 to 18 years old. The McDermotts home school and now reside in Springfield, MO.
Karen (Houck, Alum 1988) Bahn, "I am currently teaching 4th grade at Immanuel Lutheran School in Marshfield, Wisconsin. My husband, Daryn (also Alum 1988), is associate pastor at Christ Lutheran in Marshfield. I am finishing my PhD in Adult Education with an emphasis in Higher Ed. Administration. I have 3 children: Clarissa, age 11, Andrew, age 10, and Joel, age 5."
