SURVIVAL KIT-Fall 2007
Dear Concordia Family:
It's Survival Kit time again! The Concordia Women's Club would like to give you the opportunity to show your student how much you are thinking of them, and to offer them a few special words of encouragement during exam week.
On Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. we will prepare these "Survival Kits" which will include cookies, candy, crackers, and much more. The cost is $18.00 per kit.
Please print your student's name on the attached gift tags, along with your message. Copies of the gift tag are accepted if you wish to purchase a kit for a roommate and/or International Student. We have many International Students living on campus, and we would like to see each of them receive a "Survival Kit". If doing so, please check International Student on the tag and you can include a message if you desire.
The students will be notified by EMAIL that a kit has been ordered for them and that they should pick it up on Thursday, May 3, 2007 in the Lake Shore Room. No kits will be delivered or held. No refunds are available. The students must take responsibility for picking up their kits any kits not picked up will be distributed to children in our inner-city community.
IMPORTANT: More than one kit can be ordered for a student, but please fill out a gift tag section for each kit ordered. If you would like to send your student 2 kits, you must complete two gift tag sections. DO NOT CUT APART THE GIFT TAG SHEET.
Please make your check payable to CONCORDIA WOMEN'S CLUB and then return it, along with the completed gift tag sheet.
All requests must be received by April 23, 2007 and please note that NO TELEPHONE ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN.
As in the past, families of the student are welcome to be part of Survival Kit Day here at Concordia. Come to the Lake Shore Room on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. to help assemble, and then enjoy a free lunch with your student or free dinner for distribution between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please contact Lucy Becker if you are able to help, or have any questions. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
