Current Campaigns

Since 1881, Concordia graduates have established, built, and nurtured communities of faith throughout the world. Many serve as leaders in schools, churches, and non-profit communities that touch the lives of millions. We are equally proud of our graduates who excel in business, health care and a multitude of other professions.
Through God’s grace and visionary leadership, Concordia moved from Milwaukee to the shores of Lake Michigan in 1983. This was the beginning of the “miracle of Mequon,” which is still transforming our campus and expanding our mission.
So much has been accomplished, yet so many opportunities exist to expand our mission. As we celebrate our remarkable growth in Mequon and the transformational outcome of the first phase of the Renewed by the Waters campaign, we give thanks to God who inspired the individuals who gave so generously to this effort.
Our Board of Regents and CUW Foundation Board have recognized the blessings and see the opportunities that lay before us. In May of 2007, they unanimously agreed to launch the largest comprehensive campaign in the University’s history. Meet the Steering Committee.
We have a vision and a plan that we invite you to learn more about in this section, including these current campaigns and projects:
- School of Pharmacy - CUW is raising funds to help with the completion of the construction of the University’s new School of Pharmacy. The new school is scheduled to begin construction next year and will admit its first class to its Pharmacy program in the fall of 2010.
- Center for Environmental Stewardship - CUW is also raising funds for the completion of the construction of the Center for Environmental Stewardship, a new facility designed to provide environmental education both on- and off-campus with on-campus programming, outreach to secondary schools on environmental education, and increased educational research efforts.

- Athletic Facilities - Part of the Renewed by the Waters campaign funds will be used to upgrade CUW’s existing athletic facilities, including the construction of a new football stadium, a baseball stadium and improvements for existing soccer and softball fields.
- Endowment - Endowments funds are invested perpetually in order to provide annual earnings for financial aid or scholarships to students enrolled in CUW as well as to provide funding for a specific program or project.
- Annual Fund - Annual funds are used in the year the gift is given to provide support for scholarships, help maintain our low student/teacher ratio, support new and innovative academic endeavors, pay for new equipment, supplement departmental operations and generally add to the quality of education for our students.
