Concordia University Wisconsin’s music department is proud to present its 22nd annual Christ the King Celebration featuring Kammerchor, under the direction of Dr. Kenneth T. Kosche, and The Alleluia Ringers, under the direction of Dr. John A. Behnke, on Sunday, November 13, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant.

Kammerchor, a forty-seven mixed-voice choral ensemble, will sing music by Johannes Brahms, John Redford, R. Vaughan Williams, John Behnke, Kenneth Kosche, and others. Dr. John Behnke will assist as organist.

The Alleluia Ringers, a handbell ensemble consisting of 13 students ringing 143 bells and hand chimes, will be premiering new handbell compositions by Linda Lamb, Martha Lynn Thompson, and Sandra Eithun. The Alleluia Ringers will join with Kammerchor for a new arrangement of “Holy, Holy, Holy” by Arnold Sherman.

Both Kammerchor and The Alleluia Ringers are noted for their national and international spring tours, and they and their directors have collaborated for nearly twenty yeas in a variety of musical undertakings.
