CUW to Start 125th School Year With Humorist and Best-Selling Author Dr. Richard Bimler
Bimler has written numerous books, articles and educational materials including �Let There Be Laughter,� �Angels Can Fly Because They Take Themselves Lightly� and �Miracles in the Middle.�
Bimler is also the president of Wheat Ridge Ministries, an independent Lutheran charitable organization, which provides support for new church-related health and hope ministries.
Earlier in the day, from 10 a.m. - noon the university will be hosting tours of the former campus which is now Indian Community School of Milwaukee. Then the university will be hosting its opening service at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, at 9th and Highland, where the school was founded. Bus transportation for the first 500 people will be available from the R. John Buuck Field House on the CUW Mequon campus to Trinity Lutheran Church. Tours of the Mequon campus will be available from 3-5 p.m.

Other special events planned for fall include an Oktoberfest celebration during Homecoming, Saturday, October 15, 2005, and Christmas at Concordia, December 2-3, 2005.
