MEQUON, Wis. - Concordia University Wisconsin's School of Business and Legal Studies is now accepting applications for the 2008 Concordia University Award for Ethical Business Leadership.

According to Dr. William Ellis, dean of the School of Business and Legal Studies, "This award recognizes business leaders in the local community who go above legal requirements and exhibit particularly noteworthy and socially responsible practices."

Past winners include Matt Furno of the Milwaukee Protestant Home, Fred Anderson of Wenthe Davidson Engineering, and Tom Kacmarcik of Kapco, Inc.

A simple one page nomination form can be received from Dr. Ellis by calling 262.243.4226 or by email at william.ellis@cuw.edu. Attached to this nomination form the nominee must describe in what way this individual / corporation / organization has demonstrated ethical and socially responsible management practices (including community support and involvement; family-friendly or other innovative employment practices' efforts to recognize and improve diversity; environmentally friendly practices and other praiseworthy actions.) The deadline for all nominations is March 1, 2008.
