CONCORDIA UNVERSITY WISCONSIN TO BRING GRADUATE PROGRAMS TO RACINE AND WAUKESHA MEQUON, Wis. - Starting this fall, area educators looking to pursue their Master's degree will have more options as Concordia University Wisconsin brings two of its graduate programs to Racine and three of its programs to Waukesha.
Classes for a graduate degree in Reading and a graduate degree in Counseling will begin on Wednesday, September 27, at 4:45 p.m. at Racine Lutheran, 251 Luedtke Avenue. The classes will run for 8 weeks, one evening a week.
Classes for a graduate degree in Reading, Counseling, and Educational Administration will begin on Monday, September 25, at 4:45 p.m. at Waukesha North High School, 2222 Michigan Avenue, Waukesha.
According to Marsha Konz, assistant vice president of academics, "The Reading graduate degree, which consists of 33 credits, allows teachers to become certified as reading teachers and reading specialists.
"The Counseling graduate degree, which consists of 45 credits, offers both school and professional counseling opportunities.
The Educational Administration graduate degree, which consists of 33-36 credits, for certification as a principal, school business administrator, or director of instruction.."
