WAUSAU, Wis. - Starting this fall, area educators looking to pursue their Master's degree will have more options as Concordia University Wisconsin brings three of its graduate programs to Wausau.

Classes for a graduate degree in Reading a will begin on Wednesday, September 27, at 4:45 p.m. at Northcentral Technical College, 1000 West Campus Drive, Wausau. The classes will run for 8 weeks, one evening a week.

Classes for graduate degrees Counseling, and Educational Administration will begin on Wednesday, September 27, at 4:45 p.m. at Wausau West High School, 1200 West Wausau Avenue, Wausau. They too will run for 8 weeks, one evening a week.

According to Marsha Konz, assistant vice president of academics, "The Reading graduate degree, which consists of 33 credits, allows teachers to become certified as reading teachers and reading specialists."

"The Counseling graduate degree, which consists of 45 credits, offers both school and professional counseling opportunities.

The Educational Administration graduate degree, which consists of 33-36 credits, may be taken for certification as a principal, director of instruction, or school business manager."
