FORMER ORGANIST OF ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL IN LONDON TO PERFORM AT CONCORDIA ON OCTOBER 14 MEQUON, Wis. - Concordia University Wisconsin's music department and UBS Financial Services are proud to be presenting a free organ concert by Christopher Herrick former organist of St. Paul's Cathedral in London on Sunday, October 14, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant.
Herrick’s program will include: "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" by George Frideric Handel; "Stride Dance, Song and Fast Dance" by Iain Farrington; "Suite in D" by John Stanley; "Serenade" by Derek Bourgeois; "Master Tallis's Testament" by Herbert Howells; "Prelude and Fugue in C minor" by Ralph Vaughan Williams; "Prelude and Fugue in G minor" [BuxWV 148] by Dietrich Buxtehude; a Pedal Solo from "Prelude in C" [BuxWV 137]; "Hommage a Dietrich Buxtehude" by Petr Eben; "Andante in F" [K616] by W.A. Mozart; and "Sonata Eroica" by Joseph Jongen.
