SYMPHONIC WIND ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM ON SUNDAY, APRIL 9, 2006 MEQUON, Wis. - Dr. Louis A. Menchaca will be leading the Symphonic Wind Ensemble in their final performance for the school year on Sunday, April 9, 2006, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Christ the Triumphant.
The theme for this year's concert is "Spring Fever." The Symphonic Wind Ensemble will be performing a wide range of repertoire including "First Suite in Eb" by Gustav Holst, "William Byrd Suite" by Gordon Jacob, "Crown Imperial March" by William Walton and "Harry Potter Suite" by John Williams.
They will also be joined by the University Jazz Ensemble performing "Lone Wolf" and "Hot House" and the University Chamber Orchestra performing "March Slav" by P.I. Tchaikovsky.
