PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW AS IT HAS CHANGED FROM LAST YEAR!!!
SOMETHING NEW! GRAD FLOWERS will be selling flowers in the Field House lobby to parents, relatives, and/or friends for their graduates beginning at 11:30am on graduation day. For more information, contact Dr. Randall Ferguson at 262-243-4273.

- All caps, gowns, hoods, tassels are now to be ordered directly through Jostens - no matter if you are traditional undergraduate student, adult education student, distance education student or graduate student. Order online with Jostens. Or call 800.854.7464 and select prompt for College caps and gowns. Costs for your graduation package are as follows (include shipping/handling not tax):

- By ordering online through Josten's, your graduation garb will be shipped where you want it to go.
- Every graduate is also assessed a graduation fee of $50.
- These are keeper gowns, caps, hoods, tassels and do not need to be returned.
- April 1, 2009 is the last day to order nursing pins for the May 2009 Commencement!
- April 10, 2009 is the last day to order caps, gowns, hoods, tassels for May 2009 Commencement!
- Six (6) tickets are given to each graduate and will be available at Countdown to Commencement, afterwards they are available in the Registrar's Office. You must sign for these tickets. These tickets only allow your guests entrance into the Field House. They DO NOT give you reserved seating. Need extra tickets? Check with a fellow graduate.
- If your guests DO NOT have a ticket, they may enter the Field House, beginning at 1:10 p.m. the day of commencement.
- If you are not participating in the Commencement Exercises, you need only to pay the graduation fee.
Online orders will get a message after the above dates to call a toll free number to order. Nursing pin orders before the deadline will be delivered prior to the graduation date; late orders may not make it on time.

- April 1, 2009 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m., Lake Shore Room for May 2009 commencement.
- Pick up tickets for commencement
- Graduation announcements and class rings can be ordered (they can also be ordered via the Jostens website above)
- Graduation photo can be taken
- Apply for Graduate School
- Meet our Alumni Director
- Meet our Career Services Director, who can help you with your resume
- Handle final financial arrangements with Concordia University Wisconsin

April 1, 2009 - Countdown to Commencement, 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Lake Shore Room.
April 10, 2009 - Last day to order academic garb online.
May 8, 2009 - Last day to call to reserve a seat for a guest with special seating needs. Contact Lynne Schroeder at 262.243.4368.
May 16, 2009 - COMMENCEMENT DAY - Please read through the following information regarding events of the day! Baccalaureate Service begins at 10 a.m.; Commencement begins at 1:30 p.m.

| BACCALAUREATE SERVICE - May 16, 2009, 10 A.M. |
The Baccalaureate Service is held in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant. This service offers all students the opportunity to end their college tenure in a worship setting. Some students will receive awards, nursing graduates will be pinned, and LCMS teachers and lay ministers will receive their LCMS certification.
DOORS OPEN AT 9 A.M. LENGTH OF SERVICE - about 1 1/2 hours
- Graduates report to Chapel Undercroft by 9:40 a.m.
- Wear academic attire (caps, gowns, hoods)
- Line up according to 'school' (Education, Nursing, Lay Ministry, Adult Education, Arts & Sciences, Business & Legal Studies, Human Services).
- Faculty & students will process according to school.
- Family & friends are welcome.

DOORS OPEN AT NOON. LENGTH OF SERVICE - 1 1/2 to 2 hours
- GRADUATES ASSEMBLE IN THE lower Barth Hall by the auditorium NO LATER THAN 1:10 P.M. WEAR ACADEMIC ATTIRE. ** PLEASE BE ON TIME! ** LATE ARRIVALS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE SEATED WITHIN THEIR DEGREE DESIGNATION.
- GO TO TABLES AND PICK UP YOUR ANNOUNCEMENT CARD. VERIFY AND CORRECT ANY INFORMATION ON THE CARD. KEEP THIS CARD - YOU WILL HAND THIS TO THE VP OF ACADEMICS TO HAVE YOUR NAME ANNOUNCED AS YOU WALK ACROSS THE STAGE.
- Reserved seating for graduates and faculty.
- Guests with tickets can enter the Field House after 12:00 p.m.
- Guests without tickets will be allowed to enter at 1:10 p.m.
- Have guests with special needs? Contact the Lynne Schroeder at 262.243.4368 by May 8 for May's Commencement, which is a week before the ceremony.
- Please NO air horns or other loud noisemakers.
- Parents and friends may come to the stage to take pictures - please be courteous.
- You will receive only the diploma cover. Your diploma will be mailed.
- Order your Video/DVD through the Bookstore. Out of country? An additional charge will be assessed.
- Professional photos will be taken of each graduate immediately after receiving their diploma. Contact Empire Photography (608.257.2941) if you did not receive your proof. If you don't wish to order, ignore the offer.
