Admission Process

  • Non-refundable $50 application fee.
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae describing nursing and educational experience and your progression of leadership in advanced practice positions that cannot be demonstrated fully from the written application.  Also inclusion of all previous scholarly work (refer to the Boyer’s Scholarship).
  • Admission essay explaining you would like to enroll in the DNP program at Concordia addressing your future professional goals, include plans for future scholarship to meet the translational evidenced-based research project.
  • Two letters of recommendation from professional colleagues familiar with your advanced practice nursing clinical competence, interaction with peers, the healthcare team, and patients. In addition references should address your academic skills including oral and written communication.
  • All official transcripts that led to your undergraduate and graduate degrees.
  • Copy of master’s thesis, scholarly project, or professional publication.

The priority deadline is April 1 for the cohort beginning the following fall.
