Program Overview
This program is for students in the education program who wish to pursue music as their major. Concordia University Wisconsin is certified through DPIfor K-12 Choral and K-12 Instrumental.

Strengths of CUW’s Program
CUW has an excellent education program. Students enjoy small, personal classes and flexibility with instruction times. There are many opportunities to perform and travel to other states and countries. The program has an excellent faculty with a wide range of experience in conducting, composing, directing and teaching music.
High School Prep Courses
Music Theory, private lessons or participation in music ensembles
year internship is completed
Student teaching is completed during the student’s final semester.
Travel Opportunities
- Touring with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Alleluia Ringers or Kammerchor
- Other opportunities available through the Director of National & International Studies
