Program Overview

Pre-physical therapy students may select any major. Program pre-requisite coursework prepares a student to apply to Concordia’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Students complete a bachelor’s degree and upon program admittance, will spend an additional three years in the DPTprogram.

Strengths of CUW’s Program

This program has a commitment to ethical and autonomous clinical practice with a focus on understanding psychosocial aspects of care and the use of evidence to support practice. The program also offers early and frequent interaction with patients as well as clinical experience in a variety of practice settings. Anatomy classes with dissection of human cadavers. We offer small class sizes with dedicated, accessible faculty.

 

High School Prep Courses
Math, biology, chemistry, physics and other science classes.

Clinical Internships

  • Begin after first semester
  • Continue each winter/summer, with 18 weeks at end
  • Some extended final internships, with stipend
