Teacher Education
Program Overview
Education is our largest program at Concordia University Wisconsin. Students choose the early
childhood, elementary/middle or secondary (middle/high school) program. We offer a public track
and a Lutheran track for students wishing to pursue education as an LCMS Churchwork profession
and a Christian Public Education Program. Our program is accredited and approved by the
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Strengths of CUW’s Program
The program has a strong liberal arts foundation with a Christian emphasis. Eduication coursework
and practical experience begin freshman year. Lutheran Church Work and Christian Public Educator
