Activities

Each year, Alpha Chi offers a number of activities which provide members with an opportunity to help their community, enhance themselves culturally and to take pride in their achievements.  These include service events, a fundraiser, and social/cultural events.

Social events have included: the American Players Theatre at Spring Green, the Milwaukee Art Museum, The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and other similar events. Service events have included: assisting with special Olympics, campus cleanup, tutoring, and other similar events. Fundraising events have included: leaf-raking, cleaning, and other similar events.

Each semester several all-member meetings are scheduled. An induction ceremony also takes place in the Fall allowing new members to meet with the old and pursue opportunities within the organization.

Another annual event is the Alpha Chi National or Regional Conferences. These conferences provide members with a forum to present their own topics or papers or to hear those of their fellow members from throughout the nation, as well as several scholarship opportunities. This year features our regional conference which will be taking place in the Midwest.
