These pages are intended to serve as a resource for faculty who are developing or revising course syllabi. To the left, you will find links that provide:

1. an overview of the course syllabus approval process;

2. a chart that identifies the responsibilities of the initiator, Department, Division, Dean, etc. in regard to submitting syllabi;

3. information about the form and content of a course syllabus, including a syllabus template, which has been slightly revised;

4. a cover sheet that must be attached to all syllabi submitted for approval;

5. a copy of CUW’s Statement of Purpose, which should be referenced in all course syllabi; and

6. and descriptions of CUW’s nine curriculum goals.

The Curriculum Committee’s Web page provides information about the Committee’s activities. There you can find

1. a list of the Committee’s members;

2. agenda for the Committee’s upcoming meeting;

3. minutes of the Committee’s most recent meeting;

4. actions taken by the Committee since its last meeting (i.e., which syllabi have been approved by the Committee); and

5. a description of the Committee’s function;

6. any updates on the Committee’s actions or function.
