To check out library materials and access the online databases when off campus, you must have a valid CUW Falcon 1 ID Card that has been activated for use in the Library.
Is My CUW Falcon 1 Card Active for Library Use?
To find out if your Falcon 1 Card is currently active for use in the Library, contact the Library or follow the steps listed below.
STEP ONE:
If you are a current CUW student, faculty or staff member, proceed to STEP TWO.
If you are not a current CUW student, faculty or staff member, please STOP and contact the Library to inquire about our access policy.
STEP TWO:
View Your Library Patron Record
When you enter your LAST NAME and LIBRARY BARCODE NUMBER (from BACK of your Falcon 1 Card) and you see a screen displaying YOUR NAME in the upper left corner, similar to this:

this means your card is currently active for use in the Rincker Library.
You can begin using library resources immediately.
When you enter your LAST NAME and LIBRARY BARCODE NUMBER (from BACK of your Falcon 1 Card) and you see a screen similar to this:

this message "Sorry, cannot locate patron record" means your card is not active.
STEP THREE:
If your card is NOT active, please submit a Library Information Form or contact a library staff member to activate your Falcon 1 Card.
