MACIC - The Milwaukee Area College Internship Consortium (MACIC) is composed of the internship directors, coordinators, or primary contact persons for both public and private colleges and universities in SE Wisconsin. Formed in spring, 2001, the group meets quarterly to collaborate on internship issues.
MASEA - The Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators (MASEA) is a non-profit, professional organization comprised of administrators and counselors from post-secondary institutions who are involved in securing employment opportunities for students.
MWACE - Since 1949, the Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers (formerly the Midwest College Placement Association) has been bringing together professional in collegiate career services and recruitment/staffing to collaborate, communicate, and connect. Through our efforts, college-educated men and women achieve their career goals and employers add value to their workplace.
NACE - National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is the leading source of information on the employment of the college educated. The professional association connects more than 5,200 college career services professionals at nearly 2,000 college and universities nationwide, and more than 3,000 HR/staffing professionals focused on college relations and recruiting.
NCDA - The National Career Development Association (NCDA) is a division of the American Counseling Association (ACA). The mission of NCDA is to promote the career development of all people over the life span. To achieve this mission, NCDA provides service to the public and professionals involved with or interested in career development, including professional development activities, publications, research, public information, professional standards, advocacy, and recognition for achievement and service.
WAICU -
The Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) was founded in 1961 and is recognized in state statutes (ss. 14.57, 15.377, 16.979, 38.50, 39.285, and 560.27) as the official organization of Wisconsin private, nonprofit (or independent) colleges and universities and their 57,000 students. Each WAICU member is a nonprofit, fully accredited, degree-granting institution, but each is unique, with its own mission and culture. All are open to people of every race, religion, and economic circumstance. All are student-centered, offering small class sizes, individual attention from professors, opportunities for involvement and leadership, and generous financial aid that makes a private higher education affordable for all qualified students.

WCDA - The WCDA provides the structure and means for those with a professional passion to impact the career development of individuals. It is a catalyst to rejuvenate that professionalism through interaction with colleagues outside the daily workplace. WCDA assures this by providing opportunities and an environment for its members to grow, learn and enhance their own career development.
WI-ACE - Founded in 1964, WI-ACE is an organization of Wisconsin employers and college career offices devoted to connecting students and graduates with employers who have internship, coop and full-time positions.
WIPCCC - Their mission is to institute a collaborative effort among Wisconsin's 20 private colleges to share career service resources and ideas which support development of career practitioners and services to students, alumni and employers.
WFDC - We assist job seekers with life-long resources such as career planning, job searching, schooling, economic support and re-training. The Workforce Development Centers have the resources to help, no matter what your career-related need.
WFIC - WFIC supports the state’s 20 private colleges by working with business and community leaders to expand the colleges’ strength and collective action. |
