Dr. Bernard Bull

     Bernard Bull is Assistant Professor of Education and Director of the Instructional Design Center at CUW.  He completed his undergraduate studies at CUW in 1994 with a B.A. in education, history, and theology. Upon graduation he spent the next eleven years serving in Lutheran middle school and high school classrooms. During his service in Lutheran schools he continued his studies and served in a variety of part-time capacities: youth director, director of outreach, instructional designer for corporate and higher education clients, and a technology consultant for nonprofit organizations.  Bernard has a M.A. in curriculum and instruction, a Master of Liberal Studies, and an Ed.D. in instructional technology.

 

 

 

Matthew Stenson

     Matthew Stenson the Instructional Technologist in the  Instructional Design Center and a Multimedia Communications major at Concordia University Wisconsin. His duties tend to focus on the technical aspects of course design. He manages the WebCT learning management system and works with instructors to create animation, video, audio and graphics for their courses. In addition, he manages the online multimedia delivery systems as well as develop and test new technologies for use in the classroom and in e-learning.

 

 

Margie Blodgett, EdS, MS, OTR

Assistant Professor

Occupational Therapy Department

 

     Margie Blodgett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She obtained her Master's of Computer Science in Education from Cardinal Stritch University, and an an Educational Specialist degree in Computer Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University. Currently a doctoral candidate in Education at Capella University, Margaret's dissertation research focuses on faculty training needs for online teaching.

 

     Margaret has over 15 years of clinical experience in the area of mental health and community based occupational therapy treatment. Her teaching experience includes a variety of occupational therapy topics including: assistive technology, computer software skills, and Internet access and information searching skills. In addition, she provides training and instructional design support for faculty teaching online courses. 

 

 

Valerie Bernette

Editor/Instructional Design Assistant

 

     Valerie Bernette is  the Editor/Instructional Design Assistant in the Instructional Design Center. She proofreads and edits documents for the Instructional Design Center and helps out with the course design process. She is majoring in Justice and Public Policy here at Concordia

 

 University Wisconsin. Valerie grew up in the Wisconsin Rapids area and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fiancee. She is also a member of the SGA, the University Policy Committee, Puppet Ministry, and Sign Club here at Concordia University.

 

 

 

 

Joshua Reinke

Instructional Technology Assistant

 

     Joshua Reinke is currently a sophomore here at Concordia with an Independent Classical Studies Major (mostly Middle East/Israel History with Theological Languages). He works with the Instructional Design Center in doing video and image editing.
