DEATH OF A SALESMAN
Arguably one of the greatest plays of the American Theatre canon, Arthur Miller's play, “Death of a Salesman” addresses loss of identity and a man's inability to accept change within himself and society. The play is a montage of memories, dreams, confrontations, and arguments, all of which make up the last 24 hours of Willy Loman's life. This is a timeless story of the burdening characteristics of the American Dream, and one man’s struggle to survive.
Please be advised that due to the mature content of the play we strongly recommend that audience members be over the age of 16.
Black Box Theatre seating: Seating is limited to 106 patrons seated in a Black Box configuration. (We highly recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time.)

Part One of our Gospel of Luke radio series that chronicles the Passion of our Lord. This project features the voice acting of 12 Theatre students: Joshua Barclay, Noah Merz, Luke Hahn, Joshua Bowen, Ethan Stollenwerk, Aimee Zarder, Annika Buck, Caleb Dunst, Wyatt Michaels, Clara Ellis, Grace Michels, and Jaela Scifo.

About the CUW Theatre
The Concordia University Theatre program offers students the opportunity to learn the diverse areas of theatre production: performance, literary, history, design, management, directing, and tech. Students have the opportunity to take a range of Theatre courses, participate in plays, assist in management and marketing, engage in drama ministry, intern with local Theatre companies, and participate in service projects.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to be a Theatre Minor to participate?
Students do not have to Minor in Theatre to participate, but taking classes and/or minoring in Theatre is highly encouraged, as it increases the value of the work in the productions. Nearly all participants are either Minors or take several Theatre classes. - Can I be involved in all aspects whether it be on stage or off?
Yes! There are so many exciting parts of theatre that go beyond just acting. They range from set design to stage management. We strongly encourage everyone to try all aspects of theatre.

Lori Woodall-Schaufler
Prof. Lori Woodall-Schaufler brings over 25 years of professional Theatre experience to Concordia University. Lori began her professional career as a youth working with such companies as The Milwaukee Rep, The TravelCast Players, and Children’s Theatre of Madison. Lori attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her BA in Theatre (Acting Specialist) and African-American Studies, and went on to receive a full scholarship (Lovelace Scholarship) to the California Institute of the Arts, where she received her MFA in Acting. While at Cal Arts, she studied under well-known artists in the American Theatre, including Fran Bennett, Joan MacIntosh, Travis Preston, Irene Connors, Broadway and Film’s Robbie Benson, and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. Prof. Lori Woodall-Schaufler
Lori has worked as a TV/Film actress, having appeared in over 50 regional, national, and local commercials and Industrials, and has had a prolific career in radio voice over. She has been represented by Howard Talent West (Los Angeles), Shirley Hamilton, Inc. (Chicago), and Jennifer’s Talent and Ford Models and Talent in Milwaukee.
Prof. Woodall has taught at Concordia University since 2006, has led the program since 2013, and has directed 20 plays including favorites Guys and Dolls, Steel Magnolias, The Women of Lockerbie, A Raisin in the Sun, Waiting for the Parade, Sense and Sensibility, Macbeth (co-directed with her husband Ryan), Godspell, The Great Gatsby, and Hairspray. Prior to teaching at CUW, she had taught at the California Institute of the Arts, California Arts Institute, First Stage Milwaukee, and Performing Arts Workshops Los Angeles, to name a few. She has been dedicated to teaching youth, college, and adults in the Theatre Arts and Film/TV acting. Additionally, she and husband Ryan Schaufler have served in the Milwaukee area in Drama Ministry, having worked as teachers, directors, and actors with Acacia Theatre Co., Morningstar Productions, and Above the Clouds, Inc., as well as various churches. She serves on the Executive Board of Morningstar Productions currently, and enjoys working as a Theatre artist in the areas of acting, writing, directing, choreographing, and producing. In her spare time, she enjoys time her husband and two children, and writing songs and screenplays.
