Lynn Little began as Instructor of Music at CUW in 1999, and has been Assistant Professor of Music since 2001. She teaches the entire music theory sequence of eight semesters at CUW including instruction in ear training, analysis, and composition of music from various style periods. Lynn also teaches classes in form and analysis and keyboard skills, and previously taught classes in music education and contemporary worship at CUW. She has also appeared as a faculty recitalist with Paul Lundin (violin) and Dan Roberdeau (clarinet) and is currently a doctoral student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, studying music theory and linguistics.
Lynn is a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois where she earned degrees in piano performance and music education. Lynn earned her M.A. in piano performance and music theory from the School of Music at Indiana University, Bloomington. Lynn taught for two years at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL and at Augustana College for one year, and also maintained a private piano studio for ten years. She served as both a choir and parish music director for three churches in the Chicago area, including Trinity, Lisle and Bethany in Naperville. Lynn and her husband, Bruce, are the parents of four musical children.
