Professor De Lap became a member of the Concordia University community in 1994 as Head Athletic Trainer. As the Athletic Training Program expanded, he was appointed as the Athletic Training Education Program Director. As current Head Athletic Trainer and Athletic Training Education Program Director, he oversees all operations of the Athletic Training Services and the Athletic Training Education Program.

Professor De Lap is past President of the Wisconsin Strength & Conditioning Association, past Chair of the Wisconsin Athletic Training Affiliated Credentialing Board and has served on several committees within the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association. He is married, has four children, and enjoys long distance running, cross country skiing, fishing and spending time with his family.
