Dr. Kaul earned her B.S.N. in 1989 and her M.S.N. degree cum laude from Marquette University in 1996, and completed her doctorate in education from Marquette in 2007. In addition to her responsibilities as both the Director of the Graduate Nursing Program and as a teacher in the program, Dr. Kaul is a part-time nurse practitioner in student health services at CUW and a part-time nurse practitioner with Aurora Quick Care in Milwaukee.

Dr. Kaul is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber, and is an active member of regional, state and national professional nursing organizations, including the American Nurses Association, the Wisconsin Nurse Association, The Milwaukee Metro Nurse Practitioner Association, and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty. Prior to joining CUW, Dr. Kaul was a nurse practitioner for the Medical College of Wisconsin for nine years and, over all, he experience includes 19 years working in various acute care and home care settings.
