Andy Locke is the Director of Major Gifts for Concordia University Wisconsin. He is an alum of the university and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History in 1989. During his undergrad (1985-1989), Andy participated in basketball, youth ministry, and choir. He went on to earn his Master's degree in Student Personnel Administration from CUW. He also worked for CUW Admissions for 11 years, serving as Director of Admissions during the last 3 years.
He moved to Chicago in 2000, where he worked at the Chicagoland Regional Financial Office of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as a Manager of Lutheran Community Services. He has served on the Board of Directors at Fox Valley Lutheran Academy in Elgin, IL. In addition, he served on the Capital Campaign Focus Committee at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in La Fox, IL. In 2007, Andy returned the Concordia as the Director of Major Gifts.
Andy has been married to Jennifer Locke (Meyer) for 17 years. They have two children, Mikayla (8) and Baden (5). They reside in Grafton, and are members of First Immanuel, Cedarburg, WI. Andy and Jenni together led a team of 12 friends and co-workers on a 17-day Habitat for Humanity trip to tsunami-ravaged Khao Lak, Thailand, in the summer of 2006. Andy is a board member of the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Institute of Wine & Food. Additional hobbies include hunting, fitness, and reading.
