Carrie E. Buri, Director, Concordia University Wisconsin-Madison
Carrie E. Buri is the Director of the Madison Center for Concordia University. Throughout her five and a half year tenure, Carrie has served in many integral roles that include a wide range of activities such as admissions, student services, faculty development, WebCT trainer, newsletter editor and community event coordinator. She is also a member of the adjunct faculty teaching business, human resources and student success courses.
“Carrie has proven herself and there is no doubt in my mind that she will effectively lead our organization to new levels of success during the coming academic year and the extended future,” says Bryan Woodhouse, Regional Director of Concordia University.
Carrie has a B.A. in Management and Communications and an M.S. Ed. from Concordia University. She recently completed her Education Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership at Edgewood College. Her dissertation focused on the effectiveness of online course management systems as a supplement to classroom instruction.
