Duane Hilgendorf began his service at Concordia University Wisconsin in July 1994 as the Director of Development.  In 1996 he began his duties as Vice President of Advancement, and his responsibilities include administration of the Advancement Department, Vice President and Executive Secretary of the CUW Foundation, and Major Gifts.

Duane is married to Dr. Mary Hilgendorf, a Professor of Education at CUW.  Duane and Mary have two children, James (Sam) a CUW graduate in 2000 and Bethany a senior at CUW in the Organizational Communications program.  The Hilgendorf family lives in Cedarburg and are active members at First Immanuel Lutheran Church.
