Larry is the Center Director of Adult Education for Concordia University Wisconsin-Indianapolis. For more than twenty five years he has been a leader in adult education, strategic human resources and training for diverse business and educational environments. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marian College and a Masters of Science in Industrial Psychology from Purdue University.
Larry has held a variety of human resource positions with small to large companies including Hook Drugs, Indianapolis Newspapers, EFS and Hillenbrand Industries. His consulting experience has included: union, non-union, local, national, international, private, public, not-for-profit, state government, insurance, banking, finance, manufacturing, transportation, retail, medical and individual coaching. As a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, Larry served for six years as a member of the Human Resource Certification Institute Board of Directors. He is a member of the Human Resource Association of Central Indiana where he has served as past president.
In addition to his certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, Larry holds certification in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Qualified Profilor and Executive Profilor, Personnel Decisions International (PDI), Predictive Index and is a Certified Zenger Miller Master Trainer. Larry has taught undergraduate and graduate level HR courses for twenty years with several Indianapolis area adult education programs. He most recently held the title of Senior Faculty Member for Concordia University where he has taught since 1992. In terms of publishing his credits include several courses, seminars, and he served as the Technical Reviewer for Human Resources Kit for Dummies from IDG Books.
Larry feels that because of his personal experience with learning disabilities and non-traditional education his leadership at Concordia University can be a support to all students returning to school. This combination of education related experience and more than twenty- five years of business relationships is a noteworthy asset to Concordia’s accelerated adult program and to the students attending our degree programs.
