Lynn Little began as Instructor of Music at CUW in 1999. She directs the Christian contemporary music group, Resounding Joy, which sings for chapel every Wednesday, concertizes, and leads worship for various Lutheran schools and congregations. Lynn also directs the music theory program at CUW, which includes instruction in ear training, analysis, and composition of music from various style periods. Her Music for Teachers class equips future elementary school teachers with the knowledge and tools that they need to integrate music into their curriculum.
Lynn is a graduate of Augustanna College, Rock Island, with degrees in piano performance and music education, and also of Indiana University, Bloomington, with a master's degree in piano performance and music theory. Lynn taught for two years at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL, at Augustanna College for one year, and served as a choir and music director for three churches in the Chicagoland area, most recently at Bethany, Naperville. Either IU, Bloomington or UW, Madison, will be her choice for completing doctoral work in music theory. Lynn and her husband, Bruce, are the parents of four musical children.
