Hi! My name is Marianne Frank, and I am the Admissions Officer for Concordia's Madison campus. I've been with Concordia over a year now, and I really enjoy working with new students as they transition into the program.
My educational background includes earning a B.S. in Psychology, a M.S. in School Counseling, and becoming a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have always enjoyed working in school settings. Most of my professional background has been spent working with students of all ages, such as teaching preschool, being a youth counselor to at-risk adolescents, being an enrichment instructor to students who need extra support or who excel, providing behavioral therapy to students with special needs, and substitute teaching.
Things I enjoy doing include swimming, learning guitar, writing poetry, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family. I also love to play many types of board games, especially Trivial Pursuit and Chess! An interesting fact about me is that I have a Scottish friend that I met as a child, and we have visited each other many times over the years.
The aspect I enjoy the most in working as an Admissions Officer is seeing our students' enthusiasm grow as their goals and dreams become a reality. Concordia has many course options, such as evening classes, on-line learning, and career credit. Finding a path that meets individual needs makes earning a degree possible for working students. I also love that our program is Christian-based and focuses on personal development throughout academics.
If you are considering pursuing your degree, I look forward to the opportunity of introducing you to Concordia!
