Mary Lou Kopp, MSN, RN, CHPN was born and raised in Germantown, Wisconsin in a loving Christian family environment. She graduated with the first twelve students to receive a Bachelors of Science in nursing at Concordia College, Mequon, WI in 1986, and then was one of the first to receive a Masters in Nursing Education at Concordia University, WI in 2005.  Her career focus has been medical-surgical nursing including a 16 year spotlight in home care and hospice.  Mary Lou has a certification in Hospice and Palliative Care and is an approved educator for the Hospice and Palliative Care Association. She has taught nursing at the technical college and baccalaureate level.  She is married and has one son, two step-daughters, and two grandsons.
