Nicole Muth is a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education, Mathematics. She received a Masters of Arts. in Mathematics Education from the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Technology Management from Northcentral University.
Previously, Nicole taught middle school and high school mathematics at the Episcopal School of Dallas. While in Dallas, she also led pre-AP mathematics seminars for middle school teachers through Southern Methodist University, the University of Texas, El Paso, and Texas Christian University. In addition, she taught mathematics for Lakeshore Technical College for 4 years.
Nicole teaches both mathematics and education courses at Concordia. As part of her doctoral studies, Nicole is researching emerging technology and effective uses of technology in mathematics education. She diligently works to effectively incorporate technology in her courses, and share her knowledge of the uses of technology in mathematics education with pre-service teachers.
Nicole and her family reside in Sheboygan, WI, where she teaches 3 year old Sunday School and is a Rangerette Leader at Trinity Lutheran Church. Her husband, Tim, teaches Social Studies and coaches baseball at Sheboygan Area Lutheran High School, and they have three children; Jacob, Erin, and Kalee.
