Dr. Peng He is associate professor of the Business Division at Concordia University Wisconsin. He received his undergraduate degree and Ph.D. in Economics from Liaoning University in the Manchuria of the People's Republic of China.
Before beginning his pedagogical career, Dr. He spent several years as a senior research fellow in various national research institutions in China. His deep comprehension of the challenges of current global economic problems was acquired by being a visiting scholar at LUISS University at Rome, Italy in the early 1980's. It was his academic achievements that brought him to get involved in the research program conducted by University of Denver, sponsored by China and US Information Agency (USIA).
Dr. He's International qualifications go well beyond his academic area. As a member of the China's National Economists' Delegation, he attended the 8th World Economic Congress held in New Delhi, India in 1986. He is also active in international business through work with multinational organizations such as Central Bank of China, Italian Labor Bank, etc. He has worked and lived a year or longer in 4 different countries (including U.S. and China) and worked shorter stints in another 3 countries, and traveled in many more. His foreign work has been a combination of private sector, governmental, teaching, and research assignments; thus he is able to combine academic rigor with practical applications in his professional area.
While at Concordia since 1990, Dr. He has taught a variety of courses spanning economics, finance, and Business management. Economic courses include Micro and Macro economics, International economics, Money and banking, and, most recently, managerial Economics for MBA program.
