Dr. Stueber serves as the Director of Graduate Education programs. He also assists the Placement Director, Dr. Jurgenson, with placement of elementary education students. He supervises student teachers and advises students in undergraduate education and graduate students. He is also the Director of the Educational Administration and Curriculum and Instruction programs.
Dr. Stueber received his bachelor?s degree in education from Concordia University Nebraska (formerly Concordia Teacher?s College). His master?s degree is from St. Francis University, Ft. Wayne Indiana. Dr. Stueber was awarded a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University in May 2000.
Dr. Stueber began his teaching ministry near Decatur Indiana as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher. He has taught in grades 3 through 8 at the elementary level at Lutheran schools in Indiana and Michigan. In 1976 he became the principal of Our Savior Lutheran School in Lansing Michigan. In 1986 he became the first principal of Lutheran High Westland. This high school is one of five Lutheran high schools operated by the Lutheran high School Association of Greater Detroit. In 1992 Dr. Stueber began his service as the Associate Director of Schools for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He served in that role until the summer of 2001, when he accepted the Call to Concordia University Wisconsin.
Dr. Stueber has a passion for Lutheran schools. He has led numerous workshops on school leadership.
