Professor DeLap became a member of the Concordia University community in 1994 as Head Athletic Trainer.  As the Athletic Training program expanded, he was appointed Director of Athletic Training.  In this capacity, he oversees all operations of the Athletic Training Program and major.

Professor Delap currently serves as President of the Wisconsin Strength and Conditioning Association and is a National Association Board of Certification Examiner.  He was also been nominated by former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson, and approved by the State Senate, to serve on the Athletic Trainers Affiliated Board.  He is married, has four children, and enjoys long distance running, cross country skiing, and spending time with his family.
